This month, it was Birchbox at its best!  I honestly enjoyed this box more than most of the Birchboxes I have received.

It featured a really good selection of skin care, and body and shower products - and all of this for $10 a month!

❧❦ My Louis Vuitton Insolite Wallet in Damier Azur ❦❧

I filmed an unboxing video of my Louis Vuitton Insolite Wallet in Damier Azur.


It's so big!  Honestly I am concerned that it may actually be too big for me.  I'm still considering if I want to keep it.

The wallet itself is absolutely stunning - and substantial!  In fact, it's pretty heavy!


I do love it though, but I'm torn.  I originally wanted the Alexandra wallet, but I thought it would be too small.  Perhaps I should have chosen that one, after all.


The wallet is 8.27" x 4.33"


It has two zippered pockets and 12 credit card slots.  It has a D-ring so that you can attach it to your purse, and golden brass metallic hardware.


I am really going to have to think about this.  It's such an expensive investment.  I am beginning to think it may take up more space in my purses than I would like.  If I decide to send it back, I'll be very upset, but I have to consider the practicality of the situation.


Does anyone have an Insolite wallet?  What are your experiences?

 I was pleasantly surprised to see a $25 Gift Card in the March 2012 MyGlam bag!  I love the Dermstore and I shop there often for Paul & Joe Cosmetics products.


The rest of the bag was nice - the Pur-Lisse Daily Lip Nourisher was especially welcome - a nourishing treatment for lips.  It's probably best to use this after you have performed your nightly skin care routine. 


Was this bag worth $10 to me?  Yes - based solely on the $25 Gift Card (with a minimum purchase of $50) for the Dermstore!

I began collecting Chanel Nail Polishes in 2010, and my collection has grown a little since then. Because these polishes are so expensive, I pick and choose very cautiously and carefully.

As with many brands, some colors apply easily, and others may streak, require more coats, and ultimately not last as long.  

The one thing that Chanel has done really well (aside from creating the timeless packaging), is design a fabulous application brush. I have sampled many brands over the years but I find that the brushes Chanel uses enable me to apply color very accurately every time, with only minimal clean up.

I find that there are standouts in most brands, and Chanel is no exception. Chanel's Particulière lasts longer on my nails than any of the other colors here, and that is the color I have used the most out of all of these colors.

The other stunner, is undoubtedly Peridot - the "It" color of 2011.  When I first saw it I was mesmerized by the color - green, gold and blue all at once.  Absolutely stunning.
